Five signs it is time to outsource your social media

Nobody starts a business to write captions. Social media begins as a job the founder does on evenings, then becomes a job nobody does properly. These are the signals we see most often before a brand reaches out.
The first sign is gaps in the feed. If your last post was three weeks ago and the one before that was a month earlier, the channel is telling on you. Prospects check your socials before they buy, and silence reads as inactivity.
The second is posting without a plan. When content gets made on the day it is published, it tends to reflect whatever felt urgent that morning rather than anything strategic. A calendar planned a month out removes that scramble.
The third is metrics nobody reads. Platforms hand you analytics for free, yet most stretched teams never open them. If nobody in your business can say which post performed best last month, the data is going to waste.
The fourth is video avoidance. Short form video is the highest reach format on nearly every platform, and it is also the most work. Teams without editing skills quietly skip it and lose the reach that comes with it.
The fifth is opportunity cost. Add up the hours your team spends on social each month and multiply by what those hours cost. Outsourcing often comes in below that number while producing better output.
Handing over does not mean losing your voice. A good agency spends its first weeks learning how you speak, shows you everything before it ships and hands you a report every month. You stay in charge of the brand. You stop being the person who has to post at 9pm.
